AURA CUELLAR Vice President, Energy Transition Shell From environmental engineer to senior business leader, Aura Cuellar is determined to lead the energy industry through a transformation toward more sustainable business practices and lower-carbon energy solutions. She is currently the Vice President of Energy Transition for Shell in the United States, responsible for the implementation of Shell USA’s energy transition strategy. With experience living and working in Europe, Africa, Asia and North and South America, Aura brings diverse perspectives and appreciation for global and regional approaches to combat climate change. Aura’s experience includes roles in downstream and capital projects, where she was responsible for extensive commercial negotiations, operations management and the development of strategic capital portfolios. Aura’s leadership was forged by various senior roles in operating and manufacturing assets and through engagement with external partners and customers. She is passionate about building integrated and robust teams that thrive on culture and identity and in which people are empowered and accountable to deliver commercial results. BALL Chief of Geothermal Innovation Clean Air Task Force Dr. Philip J., Ball is Chief of Geothermal Innovation for Boston-based Clean Air Task Force (CATF). Philip has served as a geological specialist across the oil and gas industry for two decades, gaining global experience within NOC’s, INOC’s, IOC’s, and Energy start-up companies. Philip’s education includes a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in geology from Royal Holloway University of London, a B.Sc. (dual honors) in History and Geology from Keele University, and a MBA from the London School of Business and Finance. Since 2018 Philip has been researching innovation, entrepreneurship and carbon management within the energy sector. Prior, Robin served as President, CEO and Director of Noble Midstream Partners (NBLX) where she guided the Partnership in Chevron and led the transaction of NBLX, following the Noble Energy acquisition. Before Noble, Robin served as CEO, President, and Director for Western Midstream Partners (formerly WES), leading the WES and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation marketing organizations through the 2019 Occidental acquisition. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the North American natural gas markets. His in-depth and broad knowledge of regional infrastructure, supply, demand, and price dynamics across the United States, Canada, and Mexico have helped shape research products widely used by industry. Before joining IHS Markit, Mr. Waite was manager of North American gas and power content for Platts and Bentek Energy. Earlier in his energy career, he held front office positions with several marketing and trading organizations in Chicago, Illinois, and Houston, Texas, where he managed scheduling desks, valued structured transactions and assets, and traded physical natural gas within the Gulf Coast, Midwest, and Northeast. Before joining BHP, Tim worked at Chevron Technology Ventures looking technology investment, pilot and deployment. During that time, he was also an advisor for Chevron on production measurement application across the globe. In his spare time, Tim enjoys food and travel.
